This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Atlanta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Atlanta peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. βββββ What an incredible experience at Hawkers in Dunwoody! From the moment we walked in, the energy and hospitality were outstanding. The new General Manager βThe Lady - Whitleyβ was absolutely fantastic! She took the time to introduce herself, explain the Hawkers concept, share exciting details about upcoming menu additions, and talk about her vision for bringing fresh energy and excitement to the Dunwoody location. Her passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering a top-notch guest experience was contagious, and it really made our visit feel special. A huge shoutout as well to Q and Joe behind the bar! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and crafted excellent drinks while making everyone feel like regulars. Their personalities and attention to detail added so much to the overall experience. It's clear this team is building something special. Great food, outstanding service, and leadership that's genuinely invested in making Hawkers the place to be in Dunwoody. I can't wait to come back and see all the exciting changes ahead. Highly recommend checking it out!

My husband and I initially came for culinary dropout, but had such a terrible experience we ended up leaving and decided to try Hawkers, so glad we did. We were seated promptly, and our server name was Alex. He was extremely kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and made our experience great. We ordered everything he suggested, the double fried Korean wings, the CTK bowl (hope I got the initials right, the bulgogi beef, bbq bao buns, and the golden wonton! All delicious! My husband had the feel cuke drink, and I had the Japanese soda, both were good but I really wanted the dragonfruit drink but they were out. Overall, atmosphere was great, music was great, Alex was great! We traveled over an hour for a night out from the kids and this was perfect. We will be back. Alex if you ever read this, awesome job! You made our night.

Honestly such a fun little spot, Iβve been to the one on the beltline and also enjoyed that one quite a bit. This one definitely had a more chill vibe to it because itβs in a much less busy area. The singular complaint I had was that my ribs were a bit too sweet, and I mean it tastes like they dumped sugar on them. The tofu was amazing, spring rolls were great as well and the Roti is always a favorite with that incredible curry. Overall Iβd definitely go back, but maybe Iβll order not the ribs next time lol.

Service was just ok, we waited 2 to 3 minutes before we were greeted. Table was nice, with a quaint atmosphere. We order BBQ bao buns and soup dumplings, buns came out first, these were very tasty, nice warm buns. The dumplings came out 17 minutes later, they were also very tasty and nice and warm as well, while we waited on the dumplings, we decided to order the pork belly buns, when they came out, they were room temperature at best, (pic not included)would not order these again. I had the curry laksa, this was extremely flavorful and had a perfect amount of spice, the lady had Hong Kong wonton and to be honest it was pretty bland. Overall It was a decent experience, total bill with 20 percent 92.00.
